Splashwall Panels are guaranteed to remain watertight and waterproof for 15 years from date of purchase, as long as they’ve been installed as per our instructions, using our sealants, adhesives and trims where applicable and maintained as per our recommendations. Regular maintenance and care is required to ensure your system stays watertight. Systems where the sealant has failed due to lack of maintenance will not be valid under our guarantee.

Each of the different ranges are installed differently, therefore we strongly recommend you review the installation instructions on www.splashwall.co.uk. If you have reasonable DIY skills it’s possible to fit these panels yourself, however you need to be completely confident with what you are doing before starting the project.

With the exception of the Elite Tile panels (Silver Tile, Hessian Tile and Light Grey Tile) patterns are not designed to align across joints. Silver Tile, Hessian Tile and Light Grey Tile are specifically designed to align like tiles, meaning that when the panels are fixed together, the design continues.

Thanks to our product innovation, our Elite range does not require trims thanks to the waterproof core and patented tongue and groove connection. As such, we don’t sell trims suitable for this range. Our Complete adhesive and Sealant makes it watertight and gives you the 15 year guarantee.

For our Acrylic range, 2 x tubes of adhesive are required to bond a 1200mm panel to the wall. 1 tube of sealant contains 20 linear meters at a 5mm bead. For our Elite, Laminate and Composite ranges, 1 tube of adhesive is required to bond 1 1200mm panel to a wall. 1 tube of sealant contains 20 linear meters at a 5mm bead.

Simply wipe down with a moist, non abrasive cloth and mild detergent. Avoid using strong cleaners that contain bleach as this may affect the design.

Yes, the Laminate, Composite and Elite panels can be fitted to tiles on the basis they’re clean, smooth and solid with all existing sealant removed. The tiles should be scarified with abrasive paper and degreased to remove the top waterproof layer. To install Acrylic Panels over tiles simply fix a plywood or MDF board to the tiles and panel over it.

Yes, wall mounted items can be hung on panels as long as the fixings go through the panel into a solid wall behind. Fittings such as shower attachments and screens can be fixed directly through the panels into the panel lining surface using suitable fixings. Heavier items will need solid fixing points behind the panels to provide the necessary support, these should be considered when planning your installation.
